Paul Williams
Paul Williams completed his Master of Visual Arts at The Victorian College of the Arts in 2008. His most recent solo exhibitions include Sunken Garden at Neo Space (2014), Nothing Solid at Gallery 9 (2014), Background Noise at The Substation (2013), Ghost Gums at Gallery 9 (2013), Nature Walk at Mr Kitly (2013) and Time Frames at Seventh Gallery (2011). He has exhibited in a multitude of group shows, most notably The Geelong Contemporary Art Prize Finalists exhibition in 2014, Rock, Paper, Fissures at Utopian Slumps (2013), Project 13 – Jamais Vu at Anna Pappas Gallery (2013), The John Leslie Art Prize Finalists Exhibition (2008), The Keith and Elizabeth Murdoch Travelling Art Fellowship Finalists Exhibition at The Victorian College of the Arts (2009), and The Brett Whitely Travelling Art Scholarship Finalists Exhibitions (2002 and 1999). He has received the Alan Gordon McMillan Arts Award, the Rosemary Ricker Award and the Tania Brougham Award. Williams has work in the Macquarie Bank collection, the R.A.C.V. collection and private collections in Australia and Canada.
