Critically acclaimed musicians Nick Tsiavos and Deborah Kayser will perform for the first time at Anna Pappas Gallery in the upstairs gallery space. Tsiavos and Kayser have performed at a number of galleries and museums, including the National Gallery of Victoria and the Ian Potter Museum of Art.
The female voice and the contrabass combine to create a rich aesthetic experience. The duo create an intimate soundworld that is as beautiful in its stillness as it is intense in its violent energies. Sublime ancient chant is refracted through the prism and volatility of a new Millennium as the duo explores song, in its most distilled form.
