Voyage D’Illumination is a celestial journey into other worlds; a collection of vignettes of foreign cities, palaces and parks. Through a series of wooden light boxes enclosing 18th century topographical prints, Warren Vance performs an ontological enquiry
into the past, a struggle for human illumination and belonging. “Subtly ablaze with the magic of fairy lights
or astral activity”, Vance’s light boxes are poetic wonderlands infused with an intense nostalgia.
